This is one of a number of parks along the shore of Lake Champlain. We started our 4.5 mile walk through Burlington here. Some of the photos below are from the surrounding area. There was a beer fest going on nearby. Like Lake Memphremagog, a sea creature is said to live in this lake too. His name is "Champ". Based on his statue, he doesn't seem that scary to me!

City Hall Park

This is small park in Downtown Burlington near City Hall. On Saturday's in the summer, the BTV market takes place here, with vendors and a DJ. We walked through here on our way to the Church Street Marketplace.
Church Street Marketplace

This is an outdoor pedestrian shopping mall in Downtown Burlington. It covers four blocks of Church Street and is closed to traffic. It was difficult to take pictures here because it was very crowded. This place is bustling on a sunny Saturday afternoon in the summer.
